Many of us women don’t consider having portraits done until we are mums-to-be. Pregnancy is such a great excuse for creating these portraits of you and your bump that you will proudly want to show off to friends and family. The beaming looks of love and adoration that I capture before baby arrives, are only matched by those same tender expressions of love, captured in the newborn session family portraits.

I offer two types of shoots, Progression shoot starting at 12 weeks then every six weeks in total 5-6 separate sessions or when you are 8 months.

Both session types can feature individual maternity portraits of you with your bump, but also with your partner and any other children you may have.

Sessions are best booked around 7-8 months pregnant – when your bump is already full and round but before the baby ‘drops’ and you become less comfortable.

Most of my mums-to-be choose to display their favourite bump portrait in a small frame in the bedroom and to add some of their portraits to their newborn album.

As a thank you to families who book both a studio maternity session and a newborn photography session, I offer a complimentary sitter session once the new baby is able to sit, unaided (and before baby is on the move!)
